About This Experience

The Double Dip is Fury’s two-stop trip. Instead of a single snorkel stop, the catamaran, which the listing calls the Reef Express, visits two separate areas of the reef, so you get in the water twice. Departures are at 10:30 and 14:00 from the Fury booth on Greene Street.

The crew provides snorkel gear and instruction, and the listing describes the trip as beginner-friendly. Which two spots you visit is up to the captain on the day, depending on weather, and the listing names none. You need to be able to swim, because Fury requires it for every snorkel trip. Reef-safe sunscreen is listed as provided, an operator rule and not a city law.

Beer, wine, soda and water are complimentary, and alcohol is served only after snorkeling has finished. Guests who arrive with alcohol or intoxicated can be refused entry to the water, and tickets are then non-refundable. A sunset version is available seasonally from March through August, per the listing.

Children are welcome with a chaperone: anyone 14 and under needs an adult aged 18 or over with ID to accompany them throughout, and every participant needs a paid ticket. Groups of 8 or more pay an automatic 10% gratuity. The Viator schedule has no departures on 4 and 8 November 2026.

What Travelers Say

The whole experience exceeded expectations. Boat well maintained, staff helpful, equipment was clean and snorkeling locations were excellent. I felt safe with the Fury staff and they offered genuinely helpful advice on snorkeling and equipment. They also were knowledgeable regarding the flora and fauna underwater. The timing of the excursion was also excellent. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
